1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Anchor Foodz website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Anchor Foodz provides a school meal subscription service that delivers fresh, nutritionist-approved meals to children at their school canteen. Our Service includes:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual meal subscription plans
- Online ordering and payment portal for parents/guardians
- A parent dashboard for tracking meals, orders, and preferences
- Customer support for meal-related queries and issues
3. Eligibility
The Service is designed for parents and guardians subscribing meals for school-going children aged 3–15. By subscribing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
4. Subscription Plans
Anchor Foodz offers multiple subscription tiers:
- Monthly Plan: Billed every 30 days, cancellable with 7 days' notice.
- Quarterly Plan: Billed every 90 days at a discounted rate.
- Annual Plan: Billed once yearly at the most discounted rate.
All plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are inclusive of GST and displayed in Indian Rupees (INR).
5. Payment Terms
Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partners (Razorpay / PayU). We accept UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit cards, and digital wallets. Anchor Foodz does not store your complete payment card details on our servers.
Failed payments may result in temporary suspension of meal delivery until the outstanding amount is cleared.
6. Meal Delivery & School Availability
Delivery is only available at schools enrolled in the Anchor Foodz network. Meals are delivered during school lunch hours as specified by individual school schedules. Anchor Foodz is not liable for delays caused by school-side issues, unforeseen events, or force majeure circumstances.
7. Absence & Meal Credits
If your child is absent from school, you must notify Anchor Foodz before 8:00 AM on that day via the app or WhatsApp helpline. Timely notifications will result in a meal credit being added to your account. Credits are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are non-transferable.
8. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements
While Anchor Foodz makes every effort to accommodate common dietary restrictions, we operate in a kitchen that handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, nuts, and soy. Parents with children who have severe allergies must inform us in writing before subscribing. Anchor Foodz will not be held liable for allergic reactions that were not disclosed.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Anchor Foodz platform — including logos, images, text, menu designs, and software — is the exclusive property of Anchor Foodz and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
Anchor Foodz's liability shall be limited to the value of the specific meal(s) or subscription period in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service.
11. Termination
Anchor Foodz reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, our business, or third parties.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
