Our Commitment to Fairness
At Anchor Foodz, we understand that plans change and unexpected situations arise. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our subscribers and our kitchen operations. Please read the following carefully before subscribing.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Anchor Foodz subscription at any time through the parent dashboard or by contacting our support team. The following cancellation terms apply based on your plan:
- Monthly Plan: Cancel at least 7 days before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next month. No refund is provided for the current active month.
- Quarterly Plan: Cancel within 7 days of subscription start for a full refund of remaining unutilized days (prorated). After 7 days, cancellation results in meal credits only for the remaining period.
- Annual Plan: Cancel within 14 days of subscription start for a full refund less a processing fee of ₹299. After 14 days, the remaining value is issued as meal credits valid for 1 year.
2. Absence Credits
If your child is absent from school on a given day:
- Notify Anchor Foodz via the app or WhatsApp helpline before 8:00 AM on the day of absence.
- A meal credit equivalent to that day's meal value will be added to your account.
- Credits are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Late notifications (after 8:00 AM) cannot be credited as kitchen preparation would have already begun.
- Credits are non-transferable and cannot be encashed.
3. Quality Complaints & Meal Issues
We take food quality very seriously. If you are unhappy with a meal for any of the following reasons, you are entitled to a replacement or credit:
- Meal was delivered late (beyond school lunch hours) due to Anchor Foodz's fault
- Meal was incorrect (wrong dish compared to the menu)
- Meal packaging was compromised (leaking, damaged seal)
- Meal quality did not meet our stated standards (under-cooked, foreign object found)
To raise a quality complaint, contact us within 24 hours of the meal delivery at support@Anchor Foodz.in with a photo if possible. Our team will review and respond within 48 business hours.
4. School Closures & Holidays
Anchor Foodz follows the academic calendar of each partner school. Meals are not delivered on:
- National and state public holidays
- School-declared holidays and exam days (as communicated by the school)
- Summer vacations and term breaks
These non-delivery days are automatically excluded from your subscription billing. You will not be charged for days when school is officially closed.
5. School Availability Cancellation
If Anchor Foodz is unable to serve your child's school (due to the school exiting our network, or your child transferring to a non-partner school), you are entitled to a full prorated refund for the remaining subscription period. We will process this within 7–10 business days.
6. Double Payment / Payment Errors
If you are charged more than once for the same subscription or order due to a technical error, the extra amount will be fully refunded within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5–7 business days
- UPI / Wallets: 1–3 business days
- Net Banking: 7–10 business days
- Meal Credits: Instantly reflected in your Anchor Foodz account
8. Non-Refundable Situations
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Meals not claimed by the child without prior absence notification
- Change of personal preference (e.g., child no longer likes the food)
- Cancellations outside the eligible window as described above
- Misuse of the absent notification system
9. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please:
- Email us at support@Anchor Foodz.in with subject: "Refund Request – [Your Name]"
- Call us at +91 98765 43210 (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM)
- Use the "Help" section in the Anchor Foodz parent app
Please provide your registered mobile number, subscription ID, and reason for refund. Our team will respond within 48 business hours.
10. Changes to This Policy
Anchor Foodz reserves the right to update this Refund Policy. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on this page. The updated policy applies to subscriptions renewed after the effective date.
